HSE LEAD

We’re hiring an EHS Lead to provide day-to-day environmental, health, and safety (EHS) support for a major project in Edinbane.

Role Overview:

• Location: Edinbane
• Rate: Open (Inside IR35)
• Contract: 12 months
• Accommodation: Self-funded
• Start: ASAP
• Hours: Full-time, Mon–Fri

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Site EHS Lead, providing direct support to field service teams
• Conduct inspections, audits, and training to ensure safety compliance
• Work closely with contractors and customers on EHS planning & execution
• Serve as the first point of contact for EHS-related issues on-site
• Monitor and enforce safe working practices in line with regulatory standards

What we’re looking for:

• EHS experience in construction, energy, or infrastructure projects
• Previous experience on National Grid sites preferred
• Strong knowledge of UK safety regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to lead EHS training, risk assessments, and incident investigations
