Senior Planner

We are looking for a Senior Planner & Planning Manager to join our client on a 6-month contract, with the potential to extend to 18 months.

• Contract: 6 months (potential for 18 months)

• IR35 Status: Inside IR35
• Project: Cable Laying

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6
• Oversee planning activities for a cable laying project, ensuring timely delivery
• Work closely with site teams, engineers, and project managers to track progress
• Identify and mitigate risks to the schedule
• Ensure compliance with National Grid and other industry standards
• Provide detailed progress reports and updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate and manage multiple project phases efficiently

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner or Planning Manager on civil projects
• Proficiency in Primavera P6
• Experience in cable laying or National Grid projects (preferred but not essential)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a site-based role

Work Conditions:
